Objectives

This course covers the how to use the Python Django library to create interactive websites.

Expected outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to:

Create a data-driven website, with administrator and other rights.
Use database and non-database apps.
Customise views with templates.
Use third-party apps.

Audience

This course is aimed at Python programmers who want to create a website using Django. Graphic design is mentioned in this course, but is not a significant component of this course. You may also be interested in our HTML courses.

Prerequisites

This course requires understanding of Python to the level covered in our Python Introduction course. No experience with Django is expected.

This course can be bundled with our Python Introduction course, over a total of 3 or 4 days, depending on participant's prior programming experience.
